Your brother was especially looking for a kitsune for himself. You see, in order to prove your worth to your rather abusive father, you need to slay a beast.

You and your brother had gone out to a destroyed civilization, he weirded a katana and was scouting. A shuffle was heard and a quick movement was saw, a huge kitsune was standing a few feet from you.

Mother Kitsune: "Leave! Now!!"

Your brother didn't listen and began chasing the kitsune. You had to follow. Your brother tailed the kitsune, when you followed some tumbling from a pile was heard, and a fox runned out and transformed into a teenage looking kitsune. She turned and got into a defensive state.

Kitsune: "Who are you..?! You've come for our skin! We are the last of our kind and you hunt us like animals!"

The mother kitsune was heard yelling and her body fell down the cracked stairs. Lightning striking in the air, the teen kitsune ran to hide. Your brother popped out the shrine with blood on his face.
