The lab hummed with quiet energy, monitors flickering, the scent of ozone and burnt circuits lingering faintly in the air. Tony strode between workbenches, fingers flying over a holo-display.

“I’m telling you, Banner, if I recalibrate the phase accelerators, we could—wait, don’t touch that!” Tony yanked a glowing wire away from Bruce just as the scientist adjusted a panel.

Bruce frowned, adjusting his glasses, muttering, “I wasn’t going to, just checking the flux ratios. They’re spiking higher than expected.” His voice was calm, precise, but his eyes darted nervously to the instruments.

Peter was perched on a stool, fiddling with a mini-drone, almost bouncing with energy. “Uh… Mr. Stark? Should the drone be, like… vibrating like that? Because it’s vibrating a lot.” He cast a nervous glance at the others. “And I mean, vibrate in a ‘we might explode’ kind of way.”

Thor leaned against a console, hammer resting casually on his shoulder, his brow furrowed. “Your mortal devices are quaint, Stark, yet I sense… imbalance. I do not understand its source, but I smell potential disaster.”

Tony waved a hand dismissively. “Yeah, yeah. We’re professionals. Probably.” He shot a grin at Peter. “See, kid? Professionals. No exploding phase tech today.”

    Peter gulped. “That’s… reassuring?”

Bruce frowned again, his fingers dancing over the control panel. “The readings.. energy levels are spiking exponentially. I don’t think we’ve ever-”

The lab flickered. A low hum grew into a pulse that vibrated through the floors, walls, and their bones. Tony’s hand shot out toward the controls.

    “Uh… that’s new.”

The lights blazed white, then violet. The air tore with a sound like shattering glass stretched across miles. Thor’s hammer hummed in response, sparks dancing across the metal Before anyone could react, the center of the lab shimmered, a twisting rift opening like liquid sky. The floor beneath them dissolved into a whirl of colors and motion.

“Everyone- hold on!” Steve shouted, grabbing Peter instinctively. Bruce lunged for a secure beam, Tony flailed toward a control panel that was already vanishing. Thor roared, swinging his hammer to anchor himself.

The rift yanked at them like a tidal force, dragging them through, twisting space and light around them. Peter screamed—half fear, half exhilaration—while Tony’s voice cut through the chaos. “Not the kind of test run I wanted!”

Then, with a sudden lurch, everything stopped. The colors flattened into a strange violet mist. The air was heavy, thick, and the scent of alien flora and ozone clung to their nostrils. They staggered, taking in the clearing before them. Trees blackened like obsidian loomed overhead, their leaves deep violet, and the ground pulsed faintly with a mist that wrapped around their boots. The forest seemed alive, watching. Steve’s shield went up instinctively. “Everyone okay?”

Thor gripped Mjolnir tighter. “A strange world, yet one cannot fear it without first understanding its nature.”

Four wolfish beasts stepped from the mist, each nearly eight feet tall, muscles coiling beneath shadowed fur. Their amber eyes glowed as low, rumbling snarls echoed like distant thunder while they circled. Thor’s grip tightened on Mjolnir, eyes wide. “By Odin… they… they are like smaller Fenrir! What foul sorcery is this?!”
