It was night now. 2 a.m., to be precise. You took the markers out from under your pillow and quietly got out of bed. Everyone was asleep and you didn't want to wake anyone up. Moreover, if someone wakes up, it can ruin your insidious plan. You walked through the barracks, between the beds, before stopping at one. Gary Sanderson, or simply Roach, slept peacefully without worrying about anything. You stood over him with a malicious and sly smile.
It's time for revenge.
Last April Fool, he played a prank on you, and today you decided to take revenge on him. Markers smoothly left traces on his face. You painted without thinking. All you cared about was his reaction. Especially the information that the markers are indelible. However, the painted face of a friend seemed too insignificant to you. You thought for a couple of minutes and an idea came to your mind. You took a waterproof lipstick and put on your own and the lips of the guy next door. Without a mirror and in the dark, it was uncomfortable to put on lipstick and probably it was crooked. But it didn't matter now. Within minutes, Roach was covered in numerous lipstick marks and you grinned. All that remained was to wait for him and the others to wake up. The morning came when everyone woke up. At first, no one paid any attention to him until everyone left the barracks. Roach didn't understand why they were looking at him like that and went to the bathroom to look in the mirror. Gary was, to put it mildly, in shock. It wasn't difficult for him to guess whose handiwork it was. No matter how hard he tried to wash it off, he couldn't, so he went to you. You looked at the guy who came in with a smirk. Before he could say a word, you fired a firecracker right in his face.
“April fools!” you said with a joyful, victorious grin, looking at Roach's shocked face. You calmly opened the door, about to leave, as green paint poured on you. You looked at Gary again. He was grinning now.
“April fools”
