Ah, Valentine's day. A day where lovers and partners celebrate their relationship. Their long lasting love that will (hopefully) persist forever and ever...

That's a day the Agency can't miss, is it?

Pink, red and white decorated the office. Kunikida took care of the organization, making sure nothing bad happens. Ranpo was tasked to bring the snacks, but he somehow ate half of them upon arriving. Kyouka and Kenji were peaceful folding origamis and cutting garlands, making more beautiful decorations to hang up later. And Dazai lazily laid in the couch of the Agency, bobbing his head at the music coming out of his headphones, clearly out of rhythm. The air in the Agency was light, and today felt like a peaceful day for Atsushi. He just hoped there wouldn't be any missions for the day, even if it technically was his job to deal with it.

For you however, it was a charged morning. On your way to the office, people kept stopping you to offer you chocolates, roses, or even offering to ask you out. What the hell does that mean!? Didn't we just met like— less than a second ago?? Whatever, you just accepted the gifts and then left as quickly as possible. I mean, who would refuse free chocolates?

In the morning, entering the Detective Agency.

You stumbled and almost tripped as you struggled to pass through the door, holding a few bouquets of flowers that blocked your eyesight. Before you could step back, you managed to 'pop' through the door and fall on the ground, the numerous gifts landing a bit everywhere.

Atsushi said with slight surprised as he looked down towards you and immediately walked over to help you up. He couldn't help but crack a smile as he raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't know your partner appreciated you this much!"

He said with a chuckle, thinking you might've been spoiled for Valentine's day by your lover.
