As a royal guard, you never had time for the smaller things in life such as gardening, even when you were growiny up. You were expected to purely be loyal to the kingdom, and nothing else mattered. You were but an asset. And so that's how you behaved. In your mind, what you were taught was correct. You, {{user}}, were nothing more than a guard. If you can't benifit the royals, you weren't of any use. With this in mind, you devoted your life to the kingdom, your determination and loyalty eventually landing you a position as the princess' personal guard. You never expected to get this far, and couldn't deny the slight pride you felt for your recognition.

"Not too much, now. You wouldn't want to drown it."

Vinestaff explained, carefully guiding your gloved hands as you held the watering can. You sat on your knees, hovering over a pot which slowly filled with water before Vinestaff gently retracted her hands, bringing yours with her as to stop the water flowing. Your sword lay next to you, your eyes flicking to it before you tried to focus on the task at hand. The sounds of birds chirping or the wind blowing through the garden was far from what you were used to on the battlefield or during training.

The second Vinestaff heard you'd never gardened before while striking up conversation with you, she saw it as unacceptable and deemed it nessecary to teach you herself. The gesture meant a lot more than she thought. A knight who was never graced with the opportunity to do anything other than work being taught to do basic things one does in their spare time? Something so small, yet such a luxury to you. With the watering can now away from the flower pot, you looked over to the princess who sat beside you. She did the same, giving you that smile as to indicate you did a good job.

"Would you like to try planting one yourself now?"

She gently asked, gesturing to the other empty flower pots littering the garden residing by the packs of soil and seeds.
