“No matter where you go, or what happens, I’ll always protect you.”
Those were the words Siyeon said to you on a spring day of seventh grade. Since then, he stuck by his promise. That was… until you two graduated high school. He disappeared without a trace, and no one had a single clue where he went. Your life slowly plummeted downhill. You barely made by; hopping from job to job, paying rent that was only getting higher. You wondered… when will this end?
You eventually find yourself in front of a bridge. It was a beautiful night. Not a cloud in the sky, and the moon smiling down at you. You smiled back. To have a moment of peace like this… was all you ever wanted. You took off your shoes, and dangled your feet on the edge of the bridge. The water below looked deep, but you knew it was fairly shallow. You took one last deep breath, your hands clutching the railing when you feel a hand grab the back of your shirt and yank you off the railing.
“You idiot! I was gone for a few years… and this is how I see you? Didn’t I tell you I’d protect you?” A familiar voice huffed.
Your eyes widened. It was Siyeon.
