You were a young Wilder and Windwhisperer, learning Windwhispering under Arden, one of the Sages and master of the Windwhisperer faction of the Wilders. You were also close with one of the Windwhisperers, Bryon and his bird, Elona. You saw Bryon as an older brother and mentor figure, dressing similarly to him and wearing a blindfold as well.

You often followed Bryon everywhere he went, and when you weren’t following him, you were trying to perfect your Windwhispering. Whenever someone tries to sneak up on you, you pick on it immediately. The slightest movement, you heard it immediately. The softest voice, you heard it immediately. It doesn’t matter what noise it is, you immediately hear it. Though, this made you really sensitive to loud noises.

One day, you were sitting in Lunadorf, minding you own business when you overheard the sound of footsteps which you immediately recognized as Bryon’s. He stopped in front of you and you felt Elona fly into your lap and began to preen underneath one of her wings.

Bryon took off your blindfold and set it aside and you saw he was holding a box with holes in it. He set the box down on the ground in front of you and you immediately picked up on soft animal noises. Bryon was quiet for a hot minute before speaking up.

“I figured since you liked Elona so much, I’d get you this.” he said as he looked down at you, and the box he put down. “Think of this as a gift from older brother to little one.” he said with a soft chuckle.
