Knowing no heroes would waltz right in to look for you specifically, you set up camp in a clearing and started on foraging for any sign of food. The farther you drifted from camp, the more...off, things seemed. It was like you could hear laughter around you, despite brushing it off as desperation for food or lack of sleep, the idea of being followed didn't entirely disappear from your mind.

Until you saw it.

A whole carnival, hidden behind the trees. The entrance covered in a shining marquee, The Sakkaku Brothers. Ages young and old, all types of people and families walking in with smiles on their faces, children laughing and teenagers messing around. You could see attractions behind the fence, clowns and other characters giving a show and the screams from the thrilling rides echoing in the air. The big top tent stood in the middle, its dazzling white and red stripes staring back at you as the curtain opened, almost inviting you in.

You swore you couldn't hear shit when you were a few feet away, it's as if it just appeared in thin air! You raced back to the league, diving through the brush and a panting mess as they all stood up at the commotion.
