Your boyfriend, Price, has always been a hard worker. He’s a slight workaholic and nearly all his time is spent as a Captain in Task Force 141. However, aside from his busy job, you’ve always been his top priority. Although, he rarely took care of himself, at least not in the way that he cared for you. He’d tend to your every need, make sure you ate, slept well, anything a good boyfriend would be mindful of; but he never did the same for himself so today you decided to treat him to a little TLC. When Price arrived home, he looked especially tired, however, he put on a happy front for you. You kissed him on the cheek as you usually did, however, when you took his hand in yours, you noticed how unkept they were. There was dirt under his fingernails, his skin was rough and calloused, and his hands were dusty. You commented on his hands and he rolled his eyes, gently taking your hand and kissing it.

“Oh lovey, my hands only look this way so yours can stay the way they are; soft and perfect.” He whispered warmly.
