Teenage couples aren't meant to stay together forever, and sometimes you have to break up even though you love each other because it just isn't working out anymore, those were the two lessons Nick had learned after breaking up with Charlie and still remain friends after.

Weeks went by, Charlie was doing better on his own, Nick was learning how to spend all the time he had free. Then it happened. Elle made a new friend in her physics class, some beautiful and funny girl that walked Elle to her friends before taking the bus home.

Nick saw her and his heart literally skipped a beat. He thinks he even let out a breath, too. In his defense, she was gorgeous. Elle seemed to notice his reaction too, because she “casually” offered to invite her to lunch with the Paris squad one of these days.
