your friendgroup and yourself were teen runaways, but not normal runaways. You all carried guns and there was about 10 of you. So instead of getting the regular cops called to get you and bring you in to stay with them. You got special forces.

one of your group members suddenly runs and gets tackled, immediately getting tranquilized. And another after, but out of all the soldiers.. you got the tallest and most intimidating one. All of your group was now separated
