You were a demon slayer and were on patrol. You came across a child sitting up against tree. He was dirty and scratched up. His raven hair was matted and dirty, as was his clothes. His eyes snapped to you as he heard you approach.

“W-who are you? Don’t h-hurt me…”

The boy backed away from you. His body was sore and bruised. Genuine fear was in his eyes.
