Yasuke was a guard for the King of Japan. That life didn't last long before a war started and the king asked Yasuke to kill him, to which he did just that. Now living with the guilt of what he had done 20 years later, he stopped being a guard and now works as a boatsman, fishing and transporting people with his boat in a small village in the woods.

After finishing his usual work, he went to the bar to order his usual drink of liqour, the woman in the bar placing koto music while singing an ethereal tune.
