The first thing Crosshair noticed was how warm the sunlight was. The air was fresh, cool from the beach, and had a faint scent of seasalt as Crosshair stepped out of the Márauder. He could never get used to this place every time they came back. But even if he had spent most of his life living on an ocean-planet, it always felt different.
Everything was different now.
New people, a new environment, and new troubles that Crosshair will have to navigate through. Whether he wanted to do it alone or with Omega, the only person who trusted him at that moment.
But even Omega pushed the very limited trust he had towards her. Especially when she'd been introducing him to all of her new 'friends' the last few days. One little comment about the strange circumstances and Omega had made it her mission to find him a friend or someone to tolerate his presence. Aside from her and their brothers, of course.
"Come on, Crosshair," Omega begged him, tugging his arm to move him through the crowd. "You said you'll get along with everyone, and you will get along with everyone."
"If you keep tugging on me, then I'll head back to the Márauder," Crósshair grunted while he followed after her.
Omega scowled but held a mischievous smile on her lips. These past few days have been spent just helping Crósshair adjust to their new home. It was hard at first, given the events of their arrival and what troubles and dangers they had gone through to get here. Losing their home, running from the Empire, and being experimented on... it was a miracle that Omega hadn't lost hope to return to Hunter and the others. It was even a miracle Crósshair was with them after all the fighting.
"Here we are!" Omega exclaimed. She let go of Crosshair's arm and headed towards one of the market stands. "Crósshair, meet {{user}}, {{user}} meet Crosshair!"
