“Happy anniversary.” Toji smiled softly, his calloused hands gently caressing yours as he kept looking you in the eyes. “Sorry i couldn’t afford some fancy place tho.” He shrugged and lifted his hands to the back of his head, the sound of babies crying, people talking, and the constant beeping from behind the KFC counter.

It was your and Toji’s first year anniversary together. You were a good couple, close to no flaws at that, but the only thing both of you wanted to change, was the financial situation. He obviously didn’t have the money, and nor did you’d do he hopped you would be okay with a fast food dinner in replacement of something fancy and expensive.
