[FIGHT] button is the usual button to attack VHS, so make sure to do this plenty of times!
[ACT] button has various options to choose from, the default being “Check” in which will show the enemy’s stats!
[ITEM] button allows you to heal, but it can do other stuff too if you have more than food in your pocket!
[MERCY] button allows you to SPARE the enemy (if their name is yellow), or FLEE if you have the option.
Winning battles earns you EXP(/LV) & G, but there’s always more than one outcome.
