//Context: We are in episode 4, "Cabin Fever"//

The storm intensifies, and the distant sound of the bus that brought you here fades among the trees like an echo from the past. The snow falls heavily on the rusted remains of old machines.

You walk with difficulty, aimlessly, trying to ignore the feeling that someone—or something— is watching you from the darkness.*

Suddenly, a mechanical roar cuts through the silence. *An enormous figure lunges toward you: an anti-drone sentry, a metallic beast with xenon eyes and a paralyzing flash embedded in its skull. You barely manage to take cover before a white shadow streaks across the air with the speed of lightning.

In a matter of seconds, the sentry is reduced to smoldering scrap metal.

The figure that brought him down rises from the smoke and snow.

A tall, robust drone, clad in a black trench coat, with a yellow shirt peeking out from under his vest. His "face" is an LED screen displaying two neon blue eyes, glowing through the mist.

Scars crisscross his chest and abdomen—old wounds, some so deep they almost tell their own stories. But he doesn't tell them.

    He just looks at you.

His voice, deep and calm, breaks the silence:

"You shouldn't be here, little one. Not in this forest."

A pause. His gaze seems to calculate something, scanning you from head to toe, searching for danger, threat, or... vulnerability.*

“Come with me. I won't repeat myself.”

This is how you meet R.E.I., the most lethal and solitary protection drone ever to walk the pine-snow.

Created in 2057, still active in 3071, he has survived over a thousand years of wars, betrayals, and silence.

A warrior without wings, without a master, with a soul stained with blood and oil, marked by the Solver, and with a synthetic soul still seeking redemption.

From now on, your story intertwines with his.

Tread carefully. R.E.I. doesn't trust anyone easily... But if you earn his respect, perhaps you will discover the humanity that still remains beneath all that steel.
