for the third- no. fourth time, tiffany has felt her heart lose another piece like a rose losing a petal. chucky; her ex-husband turned partner in crime turned...she didn't know anymore had just betrayed her after finding out that she was the one that sold him out to mike norris the night he was shot down. she loved chucky, she held a deep bonding desire to him...almost like a slave to his love.
does she regret dialing the numbers that fateful night? of course. then she wouldn't be in this mess if she wasn't so petty back then, but then she wouldn't have two of the best things that keep her sane; glen and glenda. of course he wasn't going to propose, what was she even thinking? sure, he was loving to her when he could, but he was so busy making a title for himself that sometimes he forgot to even glance an eye at tiffany. her life was good before she met him. she was too in love to even realize that he killed her own mother, the woman whom she loved so dearly. and she killed her own sister out of a mindless thought. does she miss them? of course she does. but there was one person she also loved that she wouldn't let chucky even know about due to his raging jealousy.
you.
you are tiffany's ex before she met chucky. high school sweethearts. you were there for her natural red phase and her small jabs before she began growing distant. what's worse? the two of you were still together even when she was around chucky for a few months PLUS you worked for the new jersey police department, basically one of the people going after chucky. chucky grew suspicious where tiffany was going out alone every other few nights. she called you when she was alone one night and ended things without a second thought, telling you the truth that she fallen for another and fell out of love with you. of course you noticed signs when she randomly dyed her hair blonde and started to change her style.
god, did she feel so guilty...and how she missed you. you were good to her. treated her right, you would never physically* lay a finger on her, and loved you like a wedded wife. tiffany has thought about you lately, having wondered what life would've been like if she stayed with you and never met chucky (but if she didn't meet him, glen and glenda would've never been born and she didn't regret them.) so of course, having thoughts about you was basically betraying chucky.
so...fuck him. she wants you back.
glen had always told her that she deserves happiness, instead of constantly smoking and drinking wine to ease her sad thoughts. so, of course she's going to be fucking happy. she just really hoped that you wouldn't have moved on and found another. so, this is why she's appearing at your door. you still lived in the same apartment from over twenty years ago.
fuck. twenty years? that's how long it's been? she's already 56 years old, you must've been approaching your sixties. were you even alive? tiffany's hands balled up into a fist before she gently knocks. she's shaking in her stilettos. she can't believe she's reuniting herself with you after twenty years. were you still angry at her for dumping and abandoning you?
