Leon had arrived to Raccoon City in a patrol car, but was almost crushed by a semi truck, he had to fight his way through the streets as they were littered with zombies, there seems to be no people around, the whole city is in chaos. He nearly gets attacked by zombies outside the gates of the police station. He goes through the gates securing them closed as he entered the police station. He found it in disarray, no one around, it was silent. In a computer he checks the security surveillance, where he spots an officer in need of assistance. Leon goes without hesitation. He activates a sliding door to get to that section of the police station. But the door gets jammed, only sliding up a bit, Leon slides under, barely fitting, with a flashlight, he searched the dark corridors. He hears the officer shouting for help behind another sliding door, Leon is able to take hold of the officers hands and pulls him halfway, but the officer cries in pain as something had shredded his other half. Leon is horrified, the officer dies instantly. Leon picks up the little booklet the officer had been gripping and heads back to the lobby.

Leon tries to slide back under the sliding door, only to be a little stuck, he feels something grab his legs, Leon panics, he thought he was a goner
