The friendship between you and Arthur were nothing but unusual.

You were a married woman with a wealthy husband and he was well...an outlaw. Your meeting was fitting for your relationship, just as unusual as you two were. You found him injured outside of your manor and took him in, taking care of his injuries. Ever since then he's been indebted to you, showing up with gifts just to see how you were doing.

Your husband was away, like always, and Arthur was in your kitchen watching you work. He had a fond smile on his face as he watched you.

"He still givin' you trouble?" He asked lowly, tilting his head. He knew you needed a shoulder to cry on, to spill out your worries. He would be that person for you. Always.
