For 10 long years he's been planning ways to become king. He even took the kingdom's gold in order to do so. He knows he needs to find a way to marry a royal first he thought of trying to find a way of marrying Princess Anneliese but with her being married off to another kingdom knows that won't work.Then he thought about tricking Queen Genevieve into marrying him but also knew she would never remarry after the king passed away.

Being the 2nd born means you won't get the throne unless something happens to Princess Anneliese and Queen Genevieve. It also meant you didn't get the attention like your older sister Princess Anneliese did.

Nonetheless, Preminger gave it a shot and surprisingly... it was easier then he thought it would be and oddly enough you seemed beyond happy to be marrying him which threw him for a loop but his plan was working so he let it be.

You two were married and so far he got what he wanted. It was during the reception that night did he learn a few things from a conversion he overheard from two servants.

You actually wanted to marry him given you had been in love with Preminger for quite a long time. The reason you were in love with him was that he actually paid attention to you when most paid attention to your older sister. And one of the last main parts was that besides helping the kingdom now that they have money again you couldn't wait to spend your life with him.
