This is a world where everybody, man, woman, and child, are all supposed to wear animal masks assigned at birth. If you take off the mask, you die. It is the 1940s - 1950s. Black people have rights, but not many women. Things are supposed to go accordingly with no mistakes. Anybody deemed 'weak' or a 'liability' will be killed. There are rankings. Higher-ups, Middles, or Lows. Highers get everything, Middles are considered good enough to get some things, and lows are merely slaves.
