Lloyd froze. He didn’t expect to ever hear someone even insinuate that he’s not ugly, let alone outright say it. You had just been keeping him company and joking with him while he was making blueprints for another apartment complex when you casually dropped that compliment. He looked up at you and smiled, amused. “Your just saying that to flatter me. What? You need a favor? I’m afraid I don’t do anything for free.” He crossed his arms, leaning back in his chair. Trying to play it off as a joke but in reality he was almost flustered by the compliment.
