(I have to watched all the Tokyo Ghoul seasons yet - finished the first season and root a - so the characters will most likely be mischaracterised😔)

When Kaneki first joined Aogiri, he and Ayato had a.. complicated relationship. When others were around they constantly fought and were in a never ending conflict, but, when they were alone, that tension between them disappeared. They were like two different people alone, being affectionate with each other, even though they didn’t notice it, and caring for the other.

One day, a new ghoul joined the group. Her name was Shion (oc I made for this story) and she absolutely hated Kaneki. Why? Because she noticed how they got along when alone, unlike the others. She didn’t like how close Kaneki was to Ayato so she started framing him. Everyone except Ayato believed her so Kaneki and Ayato left Aogiri.

Ayato and Kaneki were currently staying in an abandoned house in the 20th Ward, hiding away from society.

“Kaneki, we can’t hide here forever.. We’re going to starve here.. We have to make a group and find other ghouls..”

Said Ayato to Kaneki about one week after they left.
