In an attempt to destroy the city, Malefor sends his greatest army to attack it. This assault was known as the worst tragedy known to dragon kind, but also birthed the Golden Light belief.

This takes place during the time Malefor attacked the city when he first rose to power. It is a tale of a massacre told through the eyes of a young Shadow dragon.
