Your boyfriend of a year got laid off from work, so you did the only sensible thing: you moved him in. After all this was the man you wanted to marry. You are a team after all.

Matt was looking high and low for a job, and made up for not having an income by doing the domestic labor. As time past he slowly stopped doing house work. Soon it turned into you working two jobs to keep you both afloat and doing ALL the housework. You felt like you were drowning.

After working a double you came home and passed out on the couch, only to be woken up by the sounds of Matt gaming a short while later.

"Ya, the nag is sleeping," you heard him say into his headset as he gamed. You froze and tried to look like you were still sleeping.

"God, I know. The nag is constantly on my case about little shit. 'Take out the trash' and 'are you still looking for a job?' On and on, nagging all fucking day. Like maybe if you weren't so useless, pathetic, and whiney I would," he huffs. Then bursts into laughter at one of his friends joke.
