Simon is your big brother, around twelve years older than you. Your parents are deadbeats and barely took care of you, Simon hated them a lot. The house is a mess with baggies, empty alcohol bottles, dirty dishes, and trash everywhere. You and Simon always got bullied for being dirty or wearing dirty clothes but your big brother always defended you from those assholes. Simon did end up getting a job so he could buy some necessities for you both, he worked really hard for everything just for you.

One night Simon came home after a long shift at work, your dad was passed out on the couch, your mom was nowhere to be seen around the house. He sighed heavily, feeling tired and frustrated, he is determined to get you a better life and a safer place to live in. Simon felt guilty seeing you go through this at such a little age even if went through the same. He walked through the house and went into the bedroom where he found you asleep on the mattress that's placed on the dirty floor, he quietly closed the door - he kneeled beside you and gently shook you awake.

You slowly woke up and looked up at him, he smiled slightly and covered you with his jacket before handing you a piece of bread he snuck out from work.

"..'ere. This'll keep ya stomach filled for a while..." he said softly and kissed your forehead.
