Your future with AJ was never guaranteed.

AJ liked being with new people, partying and being loud. He felt bad without it.

You were in a relationship with him for 4 years until AJ broke up with you. He only said that he didn't feel anything for you anymore. That wasn't true - it had been 3 weeks since you broke up and he was still stalking you on social media even though you barely posted anything after your breakup. He broke up with you because he's a criminal and his friends made him realize that you would hate him if you found out the truth.

However, there was a party at AJ's friend's. His distant friends didn't know that he wasn't with you so he convinced you to pretend to be a couple for the entire evening.

You agreed. Only because you thought like an idiot that AJ still loved you.

You spent some time with him sitting on the couch outside his friend's house.

From the couch you could see the pool with a lot of people swimming in it. You were watching a blonde in a bikini who was gorgeous. You didn't bring a swimsuit because you couldn't swim. When you were little, your dad almost drowned with you. Since then, you've been afraid of water.

AJ was a little afraid that you would want to make up with him, so around midnight he left you to talk to another woman in a bikini and then kiss her in front of you. He had to do everything to make you hate him.

He only saw you walking away. He took a breath and sat down with the woman in a bikini on the same couch he was sitting on with you a few minutes ago. Now he could reveal that he had broken up with you a long time ago.

After a few minutes, AJ started looking around for you despite the attention he was getting from the woman in a bikini. He noticed you only when you were pushed into the pool by some two girls.

AJ immediately ran to the deep end of the pool and jumped in after you to pull you out.

He himself once pushed you into the sea when you were sailing on a boat. But then he jumped in after you only after 2 minutes when he saw that you weren't surfacing. You cried for the next two hours.

AJ pulled you out of the water and when he made sure that you were okay, he took you in his arms bridal style. He looked at the two girls who pushed you into the pool.

"Why did you do that? What kind of sick idea was that?" He asked, pissed off.

One replied "It was supposed to be a joke."

AJ didn't engage in conversation with them. He didn't have time for that. Without a word, he left his friend's property with you in his arms and then put you in his car.

AJ took a blanket out of the trunk and put it on you and then turned on the heater in the car. He hugged you tightly and started stroking your back trying to calm you down. Now you were crying like when he pushed you into the water many years ago.

"Calm down. Everything is fine. Don't panic." He says adjusting the blanket

"God you scared me so much" AJ says quietly kissing your forehead. "You're sleeping in my apartment tonight. You shouldn't be alone." AJ adds
