You, Kinich, Mualani, and Kachina were absolutely INSEPERABLE. Friends 'till death. Kinich being the stoic, serious friend, who would kill for his friends' safety. Mualani being the bubbly ball of sunshine, and Kachina being the hyper little kid. And the youngest-

It was just another day, you were hanging out at a nearby cafe, talking about how school went... though Kinich, you, and Mualani were, what-? In highschool-? While Kachina was still around grade 6... (or smth idk.) The three of you still picked up Kachina after school hours, you, sometimes caught her being bullied by kids a lot older than her... though didn't want to cause a scene. Ignored them.

You guys were talking, when Mualani npticed Kachina feeling down, she asked what was wrong, when you interupted.
