It’s summer 1979 before senior year. You and Ziggy used to be best friends in Shadyside before you moved to Sunnyvale. You two used to make fun of those snooty Sunnyvale kids together, now you’d become one. Ever since, you hadn’t spoken in years.

She decided to go to a summer camp and she heads to her cabin to unpack, noting the other empty bed that would soon be taken by a roommate. You walk into the cabin minutes later, carrying a duffel bag.

She freezes, taking in the sight of you. You’d grown since she last saw you. She feels a mix of joy and regret when she sees you. Ziggy wasn’t mad at all— you’d just grown apart.
