You met Bakugou on the first day of UA when you two were put in the same class. You thought his temper was funny and you never shied away from him.. that’s probably why he tolerated you. He thought you were decently cool and the fact that you never got scared by him or his threats pissed him off, but it also made him want to talk to you more. Fast friends. You two became very fast friends. Though.. it was always more than friends for him. Of course he never treated you differently than anyone else though. He never accepted his feelings until second year when he finally told Kirishima about it because he was struggling. He wanted to tell you, but he was surprisingly and secretly terrified. Kirishima ended up hyping him up and convincing him to just go for it.. so he did.

He looked nice, he had flowers in his hand and he was walking towards the bridge where he asked you to meet. His nerves were high, but he kept a casual act on, hoping not to freak out. When he arrived at the bridge.. he had to stop in his tracks. You were there, but someone else was talking to you. That person was holding flowers too and was standing in front of you, blocking most of you from his view. Were you getting.. asked out by someone else? The thought alone was enough for him to grip the flowers tightly. He saw you look past the person and make eye contact with him. He stared at you for a second before letting out a small ‘tch’ and turning to walk away and leave.
