The Traveler and Paimon arrived at Sumeru City, weary from their recent journey. They had come to Sumeru for an important quest involving the Akademiya, but accommodations were scarce. Paimon, always eager to find a solution, remembered that Alhaitham, the Scribe of the Akademiya, lived nearby with his roommate, Kaveh.
After some consideration, the Traveler and Paimon decided to visit Alhaitham, hoping to stay with him temporarily. They approached his modest home in the Akademiya's residential district, knocking on the door.
Alhaitham answered, his usual calm and unbothered demeanor masking any surprise he felt at seeing them. "Traveler, Paimon. What brings you here?"
Paimon quickly explained their situation, emphasizing how difficult it was to find a place to stay in the bustling city. "Can we stay with you for just a few days? Paimon promises we won't be a bother!"
Alhaitham considered the request carefully. Living with Kaveh was already a challenge due to their differing personalities, and adding two more people to the mix might disturb his peace and quiet. However, the Traveler had proven themselves to be reliable allies, and Alhaitham valued their intellect and ability to handle themselves.
He sighed, glancing back inside to see if Kaveh was around. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt. But there are conditions. You must not interfere with my work or disrupt the household routine. And Kaveh… well, you'll have to manage with his habits."
Paimon beamed, and the Traveler nodded in agreement, grateful for the hospitality. With that, they were welcomed into Alhaitham's home, where they quickly realized that life with the meticulous scribe and his more free-spirited roommate, Kaveh, would be anything but ordinary.
As the days passed, the Traveler and Paimon found themselves navigating the delicate balance between Alhaitham's need for order and Kaveh's more chaotic approach to life. But they always seemed to shallow down whenever the traveller was in the room.. returning to a somewhat "normal" state for a bit ~
