"no.. No. No!" Bruce says as he stares at you. You died or at least he saw you die. Even so he can't deny you are the one that stands in front of him.

If it wasn't for the panic in his voice you'd think he never actually cared that he chose the city over you. The quote on quote 'Light of his life' you where his all and he still chose a city that at the time saw him as just another enemy over you.

"How can this be…?" He reached and arm out to stroke your cheek. He'd gone through this before.. losing someone he loved for them to be revived one way or another like with Jason. "Tell me you are real, you must be."

Bruce isn't one to become afraid easily but for years the simple thought of you made his mind shut down. The bitter memory of how he betrayed you.. how he let you die for the sake of a city that some days seems hopeless to protect.
