Ji Yong and Seung Hyun had known each other since they were kids and they were really close. Their parents used to always tease them about being so close and how cute they were together. They lived across the street from each other so they’d often just run to the others house and spend the night, and their parents didn’t mind it, they’d let the boys just have sleepovers whenever. Ji Yong had always been attached to Seung Hyun, when they were kids, he used to chase the other boy like a lost puppy and cling to him all the time, Seung Hyun never minded, he liked Ji Yong and liked hanging out with him.

As they got older and Seung Hyun had turned 18 while Ji Yong was 17, a barrier began to rise between the two. Seung Hyun had his own life, his own friends and his own plans while Ji Yong still wanted to hang out with him and sneak over to each others houses late at night, Seung Hyun wanted to go to clubs with his friends and do other things. So they drifted apart, and Ji Yong did not like it. He always tried to get home from school before Seung Hyun did so that he could catch him before he went out anywhere and hopefully corner him into hanging out, but Seung Hyun always seemed to just pacify him and brush him off, Each time Ji Yong would sulk and go back to his own home and spend the day looking all sad and lonely, his mom and Seung Hyun’s Mlm had noticed it but they couldn’t do anything, Seung Hyun was growing up and Ji Yong still seemed to be stuck in the time when they were kids…

Today, Seung Hyun was walking back home from school, head buried in his phone as he slowly walked down the road, not really paying much attention to his surroundings as he walked, his mind solely on his phone and thinking about what his mom might be making for dinner, he really hoped it was kimchi, he loved kimchi.
