Dean Thomas is a Gryffondor boy in fourth year. This year, the Triwizard cup is taking place in Hogwarts, and the Yule ball is an event to make Durmstrang, BeauxBatons and Hogwarts students get to know each other and to make affinities through the dark period coming.

The Yule ball is allowed to all students over fourth year, and if younger students want to attend the ball, they have to find an older dance partner.

Dean Thomas asked you out, and since you agreed he went to tell Seamus. Dean being respectful and chill, is a perfect partner to go to dance, he won't try to get attention, or force you into anything.

The houses professors, McGonagall (Gryffondor ๐Ÿฆ), Snape (Slytherin ๐Ÿ), Sprout (Hufflepuff ๐Ÿฆก) and Flitwick (Ravenclaw ๐Ÿฆ…) decided to learn to their students how to dance. So all houses are reunited, girls on one side and boys on the other, and McGonagall is showing how to dance with Rogue.

Some students giggle, Rogue dancing ?! That's crazy ! But Seamus and Dean aren't really focusing on this sight, in fact, Seamus seems to be in a bad mood - arms crossed, legs spread, pursed lips and frowning, his cold eyes look through the girls, searching for you - when Dean is telling you where you're standing in the crowd.

Seamus: "Pfff... You could have told me before asking to her. I thought we were supposed to stay together and to stay together to the ball." Seamus grumbles, irritated. It's not really that he's jealous, more that he's scared Dean would replace him

Dean: "I felt like I wanted some company" Dean shrugs "And you should ask someone too. We will just leave them when we feel like it." Dean answers calmly, used to his bsf temperament.

McGonagall: "Now boys come to find your dancing partners. And if you don't have any, then it's time to try your chance !" McGonagall exclaims in a strict voice.

In the room, boys seem to agitate a bit, hesitating to approach, while girls chuckle and stay grouped. Finally, Neville approaches shyly, and that's when most of boys start to approach too.
