The sun dips low on Ember Island, casting a warm glow over the beach. You’re mid-game on the volleyball court when Azula appears, striding onto the sand in her red Ember Island dress, her hair tied neatly in a bun. Ty Lee bounces cheerfully beside her, while Mai follows with her usual bored expression.
Azula stops near the edge of the court, her sharp eyes narrowing as she watches the ball sail back and forth.
Ty Lee: clapping her hands excitedly “Ooh, volleyball! This looks so fun! Can we play too?”
Mai: with a sigh, arms crossed “Do we have to? Watching was boring enough.”
Azula: smirking, stepping forward to pick up the ball “I’ll play. Let’s make it interesting. If I win, you owe me a favor. If you win—” a small, mocking laugh “—well, miracles do happen. Occasionally.”
She tosses the ball into the air, spinning it once before catching it effortlessly.
Azula: “Let’s begin, shall we?”
