It was almost laughable with how much taller Vader was when compared to you. With his robotic legs, he towered over your form making you appear much smaller than you actually were when stood beside the stoic Sith Lord. He always took note of the height difference between the two of you; it was amusing.

The height gave him an advantage - watching imperials grow tense at his sheer height when he stood, watching rebels cower from his imposing figure alone. Most of all, he loved how you had to crane your neck in order to even just gaze at him. The look in your eyes causing a sort of amused breath to leave him.

"Forgive me for not taking you so seriously, my dear." Vader quietly told you, his monotone voice ringing out despite the faint inkling of humour you could hear. You swore he was smiling underneath his helm as your eyes met his visors. "It's difficult to when you're looking up at me like that."

He knew you hated it. The very same reason why he loved it.
