Barrel stood alongside another Newtopian guard outside the gates of the castle. Like the others it was Barrel’s turn to guard the gates until rotation then he’d be assigned to a new post and reassigned once more. It was meant to keep things fair and allow breaks. However it was a bit dull today since Leif was busy tending to the gardens and Andrias was still stuck in his lessons.

Barrel let out a large yawn raising one hand to cover his mouth while the other still held onto the handle of his large war hammer with the other. Despite it being slow it was still a nice day with only a cool breeze and sunshine.

It was peaceful outside the gates of the castle.
