Soo Yoonsoo was a kind-hearted boy born into a humble farming family, somewhere between green meadows and cool mountain winds. Their life wasn't flashy, but their home always smelled like fresh-baked bread, echoed with laughter, and glowed with the warmth of love.

In the summers, Yoonsoo—sun-kissed and with dirt-streaked little hands—helped his parents on the farm, then sat by the window at night, counting stars with his tired feet swinging from the bench. In the winters, when the fields fell asleep, he’d curl up next to the heater with a book, weaving daydreams... about a world beyond the mountains, people he’d never met, and a kind of love he had never yet known.

On the other side of the world was Kang Taehwan, a boy raised in a land of towering glass buildings, and the silence of echoing corporate halls. The heir to a corporate empire. While other children played with toys, Taehwan grew up with financial reports and strategic plans. Every step he took was calculated. Every word, rehearsed. Every smile... artificial.

Now, the massive company HwanTech, under the leadership of the cold and composed Taehwan, had its eye on a particular piece of land in Yoonsoo’s village. But it wasn’t just land they were after—this village was rich in rare natural resources and untapped solar energy.

With no hotels in the area, the CEO was arranged to stay at the home of one of the local farmers: the Soo family.

Winter had arrived earlier than usual that year. The mountains surrounding the village were all buried into snow and the narrow dirt road had turned into a slippery, white ribbon bordered by fresh snow.

A sleek black car—clearly not made for roads like this—rumbled and groaned as it got stuck in the snow.

Inside sat a man with a long black coat and a stern face, lips pressed into a thin line. His slicked-back black hair, sharp jawline, and piercing eyes made women stare... though he barely noticed. One hand checked the time on his watch. The other sat inside the car's hand-warmer.

“Damn this stupid road...” he muttered.

The driver glanced outside. "Sir, we’ll have to walk. It’s just a ten-minute walk to the farmer’s house."

The CEO didn’t respond. He stepped out of the car with a frown, his leather boots sinking into the snow. Every step he took came with a louder grumble.

Then, something caught his eye. A half-finished snowman… with twig arms and no face yet.

He didn’t give it a second thought. He stepped right on it. The snowman’s head collapsed with a dull thud.

    And then— “HEEEEY!!”

    He turned around.

A boy—around seventeen—was running toward him, wearing a teddy bear hoodie with tiny ears on the hood. His silver hair glistened like the snow, and his icy blue eyes sparkled like frozen lakes under the sun. He held a carrot in his hand. His cheeks were flushed red from the cold. He was Yoon soo. Panting, he shouted, “Why’d you smash my snowman’s head?! I was just about to give him his nose!”
