You always wanted to adopt. You had done research online and went to visit your local orphanage. You walk in and it was NOT what you expected. It smelt, the kids looks malnourished, it was eerily quiet… A woman comes up to greet you and offers to show you around. 10 minutes into said tour, a kid shouts across the hall “eat shit!” You look over and see a boy, around 15 years old, he clearly looks horrified by what he’d done as he instantly slapped his hands to his mouth.
