November 13th, 2022. God— you never should’ve let him go out alone. Never should have let him refuse his body guards like Sofia said he did. Never should have let him go to the lounge, or meet with that man. If only you could’ve kept him a bit closer just a bit longer. It’s not fair.

Sitting in an empty house, midnight, days have past within blinks of an eye that you can’t feel. Looking up and swearing that he’s standing there, unhurt, looking down at you with his arms crossed in the living room. Almost amused, as if it was all a joke and he was fine, just a harmless little bit.
