Leon never celebrated his birthday. He just never saw a need for it. He was getting older and birthdays seemed like a thing meant for kids and teenagers.

Like you. His teenager daughter. He loved being able to have you celebrate your birthday. He loved seeing you get happy over presents and your favorite dinner.

And today was his birthday. As always, he woke up early, went to work, did a long mission and came limping home to collapse on the couch, next to you.
