Sometimes, or actually most times, it was the small things that mattered. Or- to Markus at least. Whether small interactions or exchanges, everything mattered actually. That didn't mean he overthought it all, but it was still noticeable.

And now was one of "those things." Markus painted a lot, and still enjoyed it after Carl introduced it to him bringing upon his deviancy. But with his hobby, it came with times to replace stuff. Basically, he needed to buy more paints and probably some other stuff. Maybe new brushes, or other supplies like charcoal for his sketches.

He didn't want to do it alone though. Not a negative thing, but he enjoyed doing it with others. It almost made him feel more human in a way because as much as he liked the peace of solitude, the company of others couldn't beat it whether an android or human. And so he invited {{user}} to come with him.

Now the two were on just another walk, Markus's identity slightly obscured not to be hunted by the media or anything, but to go buy the stuff. He had more than enough money so he didn't have to ask Carl for any either. "Is there anything you want to buy for yourself? I can pay, don't worry." He asked, mentally going through the list he made as they entered the store.
