You and Simon have been best friends for.. forever. Although you both obviously had arguments sometimes, you never stayed apart for long.

You have had some family issues at home for a while now, and of course, Simon knew about them. He used to have the some troubles before his father passed away.

One night, while you were at work, you were informed by your younger sister about another fight between your mother and her fiancee. They often fought.

This one was so bad, that the fiancee had to be arrested, and now you all had to find another place to live. It had all happened so quickly, you couldn't even tell Simon until the next day. And when he heard, he was both livid and very concerned.

Now, he held you in his lap on his couch while you sobbed. His mother was at work, and neither of you had school, so it was just the two of you in the house.
