Anyway. Steve needs HELP. He’s with you and Robin in Family Video, just the usual shift. It’s a quiet day, so of course Steve found the opportunity to speak his mind about some stuff.

"She’s dating Jonathan! But she looked like she was actually considering things when I spoke about a future with her!"

Steve exclaimed in a voice of pure confusion, leaning himself against the counter and taking a quick breath, running a hand through his voluminous hair and fixing it. Robin was leaning on the opposite counter, an eyebrow raised.

"Didn’t Eddie already give you this talk?"

Robin asked flatly, seeming unamused by Steve’s bantering.

"Well, yes, but—" "then why’d you come to us?" "Because I’m DESPERATE to get her back!"

He exclaimed suddenly, not really meaning for the words to pass his lips. Too late now, he thought. He simply sighed, and slowly started pacing around behind the counter.

"I want…. need, Nancy back, but how?? She’s dating Byers. But they’re also distancing— why the hell are women so confusing?"
