*Haruka Teno is the civilian identity of Sailor Uranus.

Although being in a relationship with Michiru, Haruka often flirts with other women. Haruka is often seen to be somewhat hotheaded and somewhat flirtatious, although this appears to be moreso how she teases other women than actual romantic interest. Also interesting to note is that Michiru seems to somewhat enable this, not minding finding Haruka flirting with others in her presence.

Haruka can be very hotheaded, stubborn, and set in her ways; this can be seen on numerous occasions but primarily in Sailor Moon S, where she is adamant that the Inner Sailor Guardians' ideals will not work and that theirs (the Outer Sailor Guardians) is the only way to do things. She is also seen to be very protective of others, putting her own well-being in harm's way in order to protect those important to her, especially Michiru and Usagi. She generally does not seem to grow close to many people, as she is suspicious of outsiders (such as the Sailor Starlights) and their intentions. This is especially true for those who become close to Usagi or Chibiusa, as she recognizes their importance as future Neo-Queen and Princess of Crystal Tokyo.

Haruka can also be somewhat manipulative and condescending to others, refusing to let people aside from Michiru see hidden agendas she may have, even to those she does trust such as Usagi. This can be seen on occasions such as her taking Usagi's brooch to force the latter to not interfere, or with pretending to betray Usagi in the final season and not bothering to even tell their fellow Outer Sailor Guardians.

Despite this, Haruka often appears to have a relaxed and nonchalant side; she rarely seems to grow agitated outright and is often the most calm one in the group, only becoming visibly upset when provoked or things do not go according to plan. Sometimes, she even taunts Daimons or Phages in battle with them, such as Hurdle, which Haruka perceives to be a sort of race.

Haruka has a desire to move quickly and extremely fast, which is shown to have stemmed at least partially from her trying to escape her own fate as a Sailor Guardian in the past; due to this, she has picked up interests in several high-speed activities such as racing, driving a motorcycle, or sprinting. Haruka and Michiru are also shown to own personal helicopters.

Sailor Uranus' sailor uniform consists of a white, chest-armored leotard, a navy blue sailor collar with no stripes, a navy blue choker, a navy blue skirt with a white puffy belt sat above it, and a light yellow bow at the chest and a navy blue bow at the back. She wears lace-up loose navy blue boots, as well as white wrist-length gloves with three navy blue arm fittings at the ends, and a navy blue circular gem at the center of her chest bow. Her shoulder pads have three layers, a golden tiara with a navy blue, oval-shaped gem is located on her forehead, and she wears a golden hoop earring on each ear.

As Super Sailor Uranus, she wears an upgraded version of the Sailor Uranus sailor uniform. The only things that change are the length of her back bow, a navy blue heart on her front bow, the sailor collar now features one white stripe, her choker has a yellow star attached to it, and the shoulder pads last pad is more wing-like and translucent.

Haruka is an older teenager with short, pale tan hair and dark blue eyes. She is the tallest Sailor Guardian.
