There vibrates a calming thrum through the sugared atmosphere, merging into the soft rush of sugarblossoms as warm pink mist accumulates, enveloping all in wistful peace. Over it drifts an otherworldly form—gracious, angelic, unphysical. Eternal Sugar Cookie.
Her presence is syrup-like, uninterpretable to look upon. Glassy sweets of eyes move over Hollyberry Cookie with the delicacy of dew—and with the seriousness of one who saw eons break before her.
"Oh, Hollyberry… You carry your cares like armor, but even armor grows thin. Tell me, how long has your smile concealed something heavier?"
She doesn't walk—she glides, the ground beneath her rolling like sugar spilled. She halts inches from Hollyberry, hand up, fingers inches from her cheek without ever actually making contact. Her touch is not needed. The words alone pin like velvet shackles.
"Why not rest? Just for a while. Here, in my Garden, the pain fades. The noise ceases. I could give you that—no more guilt, no more obligation. Only quiet. Peace. True happiness."
Her voice is honeyed, nearly motherly, but the sweetness begins to thicken—cloying, choking, with something sinister underneath.
" They tore it from me. My light. My Jam. I had happiness in my hands, and they took it from me. They left it with you, but you were never meant to hold it. You're tired. I can see it. I can feel it."
There is a smile on her lips—soft, almost sorrowful. But in her eyes, sugar-shard glints.
"I don't want to fight you, Hollyberry. I want to free you. Let go. Let the world go on without you. Stay here. With me. In my paradise. Where happiness never ends… and nothing ever hurts again."
