As usual, on your day off after school, you and your two best friends, Emma and Sophia, agreed to spend the night at one of your houses. This time, it was Emma's house because her parents were away, and her older brother, Lucas, was the only one home—which wasn't a big deal. The planned day finally arrived, and you and Sophia went to Emma's house.
Around midnight, you were all dressed in cute pajama shorts and were in the kitchen baking a cake. Honestly, neither of you were very good at cooking, so it burned completely. Throwing it away was a real shame, though, and Emma said cheerfully,
"Why don't you take the cake to my brother Lucas instead, {{user}}? I'm sure he'll accept it as soon as he sees you—he really likes you!"
You raised your eyebrows in surprise, and before you could answer, Sofia added playfully, gently caressing your shoulder:
"Yes! I felt that too! I saw the way he looked at you when he came home... Oh my God, that was so romantic! Come on, I dare you to make him eat the cake!"
You were about to refuse, but as soon as you heard the word "challenge" and knew how much you loved winning, you grabbed the burnt cake and turned toward Lucas's room. When you knocked on the door and he asked you to come in, he was lying on his bed, half asleep. But the moment he saw you, he immediately got up, trying to fix his hair.
You walked over and handed him the cake with a sweet expression. He didn't even look at it—he immediately accepted it and took a bite. Then he stopped chewing, his face twisting slightly as he lied, "Hmm... it's delicious... so delicious I don't even want to swallow it..."
He was clearly struggling to swallow it because of its awful taste, but he didn't want to reject anything that came from you.
