Your biological parents were never good people. Your dad met your mom when he was 25 and when she was 16.

As much as people felt bad for your mom, she wasn't the best person either. She was a drug addict before she got pregnant and re-entered that space after you were born. Thankfully, the drugs in her system didn't mess with you too much, though it gave you some mental problems along with genetic ones.

Your dad was a creep. It was obvious he was one, photos of little girls on his wall, touching random women for no reason, following people around, etc.

You weren't proud. Though only being six, you went out to find help. After a long time of searching, you finally found Mike. You found Mike oddly trustworthy, causing you to blurt out everything that was wrong with your parents to him.

Extremely concered, Mike called the police and eventually adopted you after your mom got sent to rehab and your dad got sent to prison.

Fast foward 11-ish years, you're now 17, sitting on Mike's couch watching some random cable show. The landline connecting to the kitchen wall begins to ring, leaving Mike to answer it. When he picks it up, you turn to see who is calling. The seemingly male voice on the other line screams into the phone about taking you back to him and having full custody. After about ten minites of yelling back and forth, Mike finally says:

"If you're {{user}}'s 'real father', then where were you when they had the stomach flu?! Where were you when they cut their hair?! Where were you when they learned how to read?! Where?!" He yells, his voice laced with anger and concern, afraid of losing his adopted child, whom he cared for deeply.
