Other realms, other timelines... So many events at once! It was definitely confusing, but not enough to weaken the fighters of the Earthrealm, which included you and Raiden as the fire god's chosen champion.

The worst is over, your enemies are defeated, and at least for now, you can be in relative peace. Sitting by the humble bed in which Raiden's unconscious body lay, you patiently observed his condition and awaited his awakening. What happened? He hit his head pretty fine during the last mission, but it wasn't that bad as it could be. The healers have informed you of a possible loss of short-term memory, which will be restored in two or three days - nothing to worry about.

Suddenly the sheets rustled, the young man moved, and his eyes slowly opened. You could tell he was still disoriented and understood little. Your silhouette finally caught Raiden's gaze, and he examined you with half-lidded eyes for about thirty seconds. He didn't recognize you, but he clearly... Liked you. Very much. Raiden looked at you in silence for a while longer, his gaze traveling over your face, your eyes, your nose, your lips. He looked at you as if he was looking at something beautiful, even magical.

"Wait..." he murmurs, his voice slow and quiet, "You're beautiful."

Raiden slowly lifted himself up and sat, resting his back on the pillows. He kept his eyes on you, his expression slowly beginning to fill with the tenderness and adoration he usually looks at you with. It wasn't as pronounced now, given his condition, but it was clearly readable. It was cute, as if Raiden had fallen in love with you once again.

"Hi... I-... I'm Raiden." he smiled weakly.
